Dr. Ismai Musa Murad
Assist. Prof. of Astrophysics
Dr. Ismai Musa is assist. Prof. of astrophysics at university of salahaddin department of physics for more than (44) years. BSc degree in physics and mathematics in 1975 at the college of sciences, Baghdad University in Iraq.
In 1977, as demonstrator (researcher assistance at Physics department in Sulamania University in Iraq.
MSc degree in astrophysics in 1983 at college of sciences, department of astronomy and space in Manchester University in UK.
After his retirement on 1-7-2022 he joined Tishik International University, Faculty of Education, Physics Education for two academic years till 1-7-2024.
He received his(BSc) in physics and mathematics in 1975 at the college of sciences, Baghdad University in Iraq.
He gets and (MSc) degree in astrophysics in 1983 at college of sciences, department of astronomy and space in Manchester University in UK. And then PhD degree in 2005 in astrophysics from university of Salahaddin , physics department, college of education.
He started his scientific works and activities as lecturer and a researcher in Salahaddin University, college of education, physics department since 1988.
Right now, he is supervising several MSc students and PhD , also he shared on the postgraduate students at Dohuk, Koya, Sulaimania and Kirkuk universities. He also publishing different articles on astronomy, astrophysics, meteorology and light pollution and share in different local and international workshops, conferences and symposium in Erbil and abroad of Iraq.
Dr. Ismail’s research area includes astronomy and astrophysics, optics, and communication, He establishes optics lab. And laser lab on related physical, holography and argon lasers at physics department during his period of SUH as a lecture since 1983-2022. He also works more than 10 years with cooperation with UNESCO for establishing AVC at SUH since 2010 till 2020, during this period many training for the professors for training on the e and m process different approaches and method for more than (1800) academic staff, along with presenting more than 100 seminars on e and m learning method besides recording more than 30 electronics courses in this regard.
